ENGR 318 - Materials Science This course studies molecular structure and its relationship to properties of engineering materials. Topics include mechanical, metallurgical, thermal, optical, chemical, electrochemical, radioactive, electrical and magnetic properties. Failure analysis, material selection and design, ferrous and nonferrous metals, nonmetallic and anisotropic materials, polymers and ceramics will also be covered.
