SOC 210 - Ethnography and Writing [LAC-CO2]


This course emphasizes the interplay of ethnographic research, reading, and writing. Students conduct and write an ethnography based on themes related to the course. This process allows students to learn to synthesize and analyze their own and others’ research and learn to communicate this research to diverse audiences. This course will develop your skills in qualitative methodology including interviewing, participatory action, and activist research.
