AE 130 - Wilderness First Aid


This course introduces wilderness medicine for remote trips relatively close to medical resources. Knowledge and skills gained in this course relate to effective assessments and treatment of common medical injuries and illnesses, as well as how to make appropriate evacuation decisions. Students who successfully complete the course will receive a Wilderness First Aid certificate good for three years.

Repeatable: This course is repeatable for up to a total of four (4) credits.
