ENV 143 - Growing Specialty Crops at High Elevation


Specialty crops include most vegetables, fruits, and flowers. Going into detail on successful growing practices specific to each plant family and crop, this course covers many of the crops grown by small-scale farmers, especially those that require unique practices at high elevation. The crops discussed may include salad mix, brassicas, solanums, onions, winter squash, carrots, potatoes, and more.
