FLC 415 - Communicating Your Research


Students learn how to effectively present to public audiences by weaving their personal narrative into their research, design and/or creative activities to tell a unique story. Course involves watching and discussing in-person and recorded talks, writing an original presentation narrative, creating slides/other visuals, video self-critiquing, and ultimately producing a high-quality talk for the Spring Research Symposium & Gala.   

Credits: 1

Clock Hours - (Lect-Lab): (1-0)

Repeatable: Course is repeatable for up to two (2) credits.

Course is restricted to students currently engaged in mentor-directed undergraduate research, design and/or creative activities.
