NAIS 123 - Native American History [LAC-HI] This course introduces students to a chronological survey of Native American history including Indigenous responses to European conquest and colonization, defense of Indigenous homelands and subsequent removal and dispossession from those lands, treaty-making and diplomacy, assimilation, termination and relocation, and the Red Power movement.
