BIO 382 - Field Botany A technique-based field course in the collection, identification, and preservation of vascular plants from a diversity of vegetation types in the local region. Emphasis is placed on the use of technical keys for determining species, developing skills of recognition of common plant families and/or taxa, proper specimen collection and preparation, and an introduction to common plant survey methods.
Credits: 5
Clock Hours - (Lect-Lab): (4-3)
Prerequisites: BIO 106 (minimum grade of C-) or BIO 202 (minimum grade of C-) or ENV 110 (minimum grade of C-) or Instructor Permission
