HS 440 - Nutrition Related Disease & Treatment This clinically based course explores the impact of disease on nutritional status and nutrition as a tool for disease prevention and treatment. Students utilizes the nutrition care process to assess nutritional parameters, diagnose nutrition related problems, determine appropriate nutrition interventions, and plans to monitor effectiveness. This course will also prepare future Registered Dietitian Nutritionists for the dietetic internship and practice.
