AE 205 - Nature and Human Health


This course will explore research, theories, and literature pertaining to health and wellness benefits associated with time in nature. Students will examine benefits associated with proximity to green and blue space and be introduced to stress reduction and attention restoration theories, forest bathing, and the biophilia hypothesis. Students will also interact with and reflect on their own connections to nature.
