GSS 312 - Missing and Murdered Indigenous Relatives This course centers violence against women through the lens of the Missing and Murdered Indigenous Relatives (MMIR) movement that brings awareness to disproportionate rates of disappearances, murders, and other forms of violence against Indigenous Relatives. This course investigates how legal systems, including Indian and federal law, intersect with tribal sovereignty.
