CREDITS REQUIRED FOR A MINOR IN FOOD SERVICE MANAGEMENT:

A student majoring in any discipline may complete a minor in Food Service Management upon satisfactorily fulfilling the core requirements. At least twelve (12) credits must be discrete from any other major or minor.

Minor Core:

HS 340 - Quantity Food Production Credits: 3
HS 420 - Food Systems Management Credits: 3

Minor Choice:

Choose four (4) of the following courses. At least two (2) must be upper division courses.

HS 200 - Introduction to Human Nutrition [LAC-SC2] Credits: 3
HS 220 - Food Science Credits: 3
Any 200 level or above Accounting Course
Any 200 level or above Marketing Course
Any 200 level or above Entrepreneurship Course
Any 200 level or above Business Administration Course

TOTAL REQUIRED FOR MINOR - CREDITS: 18
