Adventure Education Minor

The minor in Adventure Education is intended to allow students in a variety of majors to include an adventure education component. Students can configure the minor to focus on extended expedition leadership and instruction (Option A) or on adventure methodology often practiced in the school or community-based adventure programs (Option B).

REQUIREMENTS FOR A MINOR IN ADVENTURE EDUCATION:
No more than one course from a student’s major may count in any minor. A student majoring in any discipline other than Adventure Education may complete a minor in Adventure Education upon satisfactorily completing the following requirements: I. COMPLETE THE FOLLOWING COURSES - Credits: 6
II. COMPLETE OPTION A or B - Credits: 15
III. COMPLETE COURSES TO REACH 21 CREDITS IN THE MINOR - Credits: 6-9
TOTAL REQUIREMENTS FOR THE ADVENTURE EDUCATION MINOR - CREDITS: 21
