Degree Requirements

Candidates for the degree must complete the 30-credit curriculum specified for the program, with a minimum of 21 credits earned at Fort Lewis College; earn a minimum cumulative grade point average of 3.00 on all graduate coursework; satisfactorily the Culminating Research Project; and be in good standing with the department’s Graduate Professional Education Review Committee in terms of professionalism and ethical behavior.

ED 600 - Introduction to Graduate Research Credits: 3
ED 681 - Principal Leadership Credits: 3
ED 682 - Instructional Leadership Credits: 3
ED 683 - Instructional Leadership Internship Credits: 3 - minimum three (3) credits total
ED 684 - Effective School Systems Credits: 3
ED 685 - School Law and Policy Credits: 3
ED 686 - Administrative Leadership Internship Credits: 3 - minimum three (3) credits total
ED 750 - Action Research I: Data Collection Credits: 3 ^p
ED 760 - Action Research II: Data Analysis Credits: 3 ^p

Electives - Complete 1 course for at least 3 credits (3-4 credits):

Transfers of leadership theory, change theory or related courses will be considered.
