Special Education Certificate

Candidates for the certificate must complete the 18-credit curriculum specified for the program, with a minimum of 12 credits earned at Fort Lewis College; earn a minimum cumulative grade point average of 3.00 and earn a minimum C grade in each course; be in good standing with the department’s Graduate Professional Education Review Committee in terms of professionalism and ethical behavior.

ED 672 - Identification and Assessment of Students with Disabilities Credits: 4
ED 673 - Family and Professional Relationships and IEP Development Credits: 4
ED 674 - Literacy Methods for Students with Disabilities Credits: 4
ED 675 - Mathematical Interventions for Students with Disabilities Credits: 4
ED 676 - Support Systems for Significant and Behavioral Needs Credits: 4
