PSYC 393 - Health Psychology A study of the scientific and professional contributions of the discipline of psychology to the promotion and maintenance of health and the prevention and treatment of illness. Includes the diagnostic correlates of health and illness in the biopsychosocial model. Topics include coping with stress and illness, the health care system and alternate methods of health care delivery.
