REQUIREMENTS FOR A BACHELOR OF ARTS DEGREE WITH A MAJOR IN ANTHROPOLOGY:

Subdisciplinary Explorations:
Each student must take one course from each of the following three categories. Two of the three courses must be numbered 300 or above. 1. Archaeology 3-8 credits
2. Sociocultural 3-4 credits
3. Biocultural and Applied Anthropology 3-4 credits
Requirement Note
Students must take any two Anth-prefixed courses not already taken in fulfillment of the above requirements. One of these courses must be numbered 300 or above. Subtotal Anthropology Electives - Credits: 6-16
Total Major Requirements - Credits: 46-63
STRONGLY RECOMMENDED:
At least 4 semesters of a second language. Free Electives (variable)
