Note: Students must complete two AH courses, one HI course and one SS course for their Liberal Arts Core. The “One AH or HI or SS course” references students choice of selecting which attribute course to complete during the term.

Note: A minimum of 15 credits of coursework must be completed in the combined areas of AH, HI and SS. The “One additional AH, HI or SS course” references the additional course required.

Note: Liberal Arts Core definitions which are referred as attributes. The most accurate listing of courses approved for Liberal Arts Core can be found by searching by attribute course tag on the schedule in Workday.

CO3: Communication course at 300 level (see placement)

AH: Arts and Humanities course

HI: History course

SS: Social and Behavioral Sciences course

MA1: Mathematics course (see placement)

SC1:  Natural and Physical Science course with a lab

SC2: Natural and Physical Science without a lab

Note: Students must complete 30 credits by the end of the first year to be classified as a Sophomore, 60 credits by the end of the second year to be classified as a Junior, and 90 credits by the end of the third year to be classified as a Senior.
