MU 229 - Theory and Musicianship IV

Exploration of 20th century theoretical and compositional techniques. Examples will include derivatives from the end of the 19th century, nationalist influences, and serial and aleatoric music, extended techniques, and electronic music. Open to music majors and minors only. Other must have consent of instructor.
