MU 313 - String Ensemble

A survey, through performance, of the literature written for this medium. Literature from the baroque period through the contemporary period will be studied and performed. Students are expected to take responsible roles in the ensemble such as soloists, section leaders, or conductors/managers. Consent of instructor and enrollment in symphony orchestra required.
