AE 220 - Adventure Instruction An in-depth study of the models and methods of outdoor and experiential education. Topics include lesson design; creating an engaging learning environment; physical, cognitive and affective methods of lesson delivery; teaching for multiple intelligences; challenge, stress and learning; and assessment of learning. Students will plan, present and give/receive feedback on lessons during extended backpacking expeditions.
Prerequisites: AE 101
