BIO 470 - Wildlife Management This course examines the current principles of wildlife management, including populations, managing habitat, wildlife resources, behavior, wildlife diseases, predators, brood parasites, mitigation, hunting, introduced and endangered species, farming, grazing, laws and policies, balancing opposing views, and learning from mistakes of the past. A hands on participatory approach is taken, and visits are made to on the ground projects with state and federal agencies.
Prerequisites: BIO 206 AND BIO 207
