ES 353 - Nutrition, Fitness and Sport This course is a study of the principles of nutrition as a science with special emphasis on the importance of nutritional decisions for the physically active individual. Metabolism, energy systems, food choices, energy sources, nutritional analysis, body weight and composition, weight management and optimal nutrition for physical performance are topics to be discussed.
