SOC 100 - Introduction to Sociology Sociology is the scholarly practice of connecting personal matters with public issues. The class is designed to provide students the opportunity to grapple with the social context in which we live and reflectively explore how we perceive those contexts. Social contexts can range from sports to science, emotions to environments, gender to government, and most everything in between.
