PSYC 383 - History of Psychology This course will focus on how psychology evolved into a science, starting with the work of the ancient Greek philosophers and ending with the currently observed trends in the discipline. The course also examines different schools of psychology, such as voluntarism, functionalism, behaviorism, Gestalt, and psychoanalysis, and how they attempted to answer the most persistent and unresolved questions in the discipline.
