MATH 132 - Introduction to Statistics An introductory course covering the collection and analysis of data for decision-making purposes. Topics to be covered include descriptive statistics, creation and interpretation of different graphical displays of data, measures of central tendency and dispersion, probability, sampling distributions, estimation, hypothesis testing, and regression and correlation. Technology will be used extensively throughout the course. Communication of statistics is also emphasized.
