Environmental Science  is an interdisciplinary science degree focused on understanding human impacts on the environment. It includes coursework in biology and ecology, public health, earth surface processes, climate science, remote sensing, GIS, environmental chemistry and environmental engineering. Students apply and synthesize their knowledge through a capstone research project, including the collection, analysis and interpretation of data.

The Environmental Science degree  prepares students for careers and graduate work in interdisciplinary environmental science, such as monitoring air quality or remediating polluted sites.
