Coaching Minor

REQUIREMENTS FOR A MINOR IN COACHING:

A student majoring in any discipline may complete a minor in Coaching upon satisfactorily fulfilling the core and elective requirements. At least twelve (12) credits must be discrete from any other major, minor, or undergraduate certificate.

Core Courses:

Exercise Science Elective Course:

Complete one (1) of the following courses:

Major Electives:

Complete Option 1 or Option 2 requirements.

Option 1 Requirements:

Complete two (2) Techniques Courses:

 

Complete two (2) Officiating Courses:

 

Option 2 Requirements:

Complete three (3) Techniques Courses:

TOTAL REQUIREMENTS FOR MINOR - CREDITS: 25

Note: Students may be able to complete this minor in 16 credits if they choose a course within the Exercise Science Elective Course requirement that does not require additional prerequisites (e.g. ES 337, ES 345, ES 480).
