Studio Art Minor

REQUIREMENTS FOR A MINOR IN STUDIO ART:

A student majoring in any discipline other than Studio Art may complete a minor in Studio Art upon satisfactorily fulfilling the core and elective requirements. At least twelve (12) credits must be discrete from any other major, minor, or undergraduate certificate.

Core Courses:

ART 101 - Drawing I Credits: 3
ART 112 - 2D Design Credits: 3
ART 212 - 3D Design Credits: 3 ^a
ART 262 - Art History I: Ancient World to the Middle Ages Credits: 3
OR
ART 263 - Art History II: Renaissance to the Modern World Credits: 3

Minor Electives:

Complete three (3) upper division courses from the Department of Art & Design. Courses must be completed with a minimum of three credits to count.

TOTAL REQUIRED FOR MINOR - CREDITS: 21
