HIST 376 - Oral History: Theory and Practice Course focuses on high-level, specialized concepts about oral history and builds on Public History coursework. Course uses interactive listening to understand the theory and practice of producing oral histories beneficial to historians, anthropologists, folklorists, sociologists, archivists, or anyone wanting to preserve an otherwise undocumented aspect of our past. Participants practice oral history interviewing and transcription.
