ANTH 355 - Anthropology of Gender Interdisciplinary and cross-cultural perspectives inform our journey into the fascinating complexities of sex, gender, and sexuality. We study not only the gendered nature of cosmologies and language, but also seek possible solutions to ongoing, gender-based inequalities and violence by drawing on insights provided by our primate relatives, our human ancestors, and recent and contemporary human societies living across the globe.
