ANTH 412 - Advanced Topics in Applied Anthropology The course will emphasize applied research design, rapid social impact assessment, ethics, advocacy, interviewing strategies and community-based participatory methods. The role of culture in applied contexts will be of central concern. Applied theoretical and methodological readings will ground the case-study approach to needs assessment, project design and interdisciplinary team project development.

Prerequisites: ANTH 210 (minimum grade of D-) OR ANTH 212 (minimum grade of D-)
Repeatable: This course is repeatable for a maximum of 9 credits provided the topics are different.
